Commissioning a portrait is a rewarding experience for both the artist and the subject.

I paint portraits in a contemporary and striking style, aiming to capture the person's unique character.

The process of commissioning a portrait is simple. We begin with a Portrait Photography session at either your home or in my studio. This session is very relaxed, informal and usually very fun. Painting from a photograph allows me to capture fleeting expressions, avoiding the posed feel of a more traditional sitting.

The client and I then browse through the photographs and discuss any favourite images. I then email a range of images to the client for them to decide in their own time. Once the perfect image is chosen, painting can begin.

Contact me if you have any questions or would like a price list of standard sizes (custom sizes are available). Framing is not included in the fee, but I am able to advise on choosing a frame to compliment the final painting.
